We are a hybrid creative agency + advisory organization. We work alongside B2B marketing and revenue-generating teams in the US to drive financial growth and success for our clients across various business focus areas including creative, demand generation, sales, business development and operations.
Our team is looking to hire a fractional Business Development Representative with a 20 hours per week schedule, who will play a key role in driving growth by generating new business opportunities through manual outreach, research, cold calling, and direct communication with potential clients. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospects, crafting tailored messages, and developing strategies to convert leads into sales opportunities. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
This opportunity can convert to a full time role in the future.
Key Responsibilities
Manual Outreach:
- Identify and engage with potential leads through personalized LinkedIn messages, emails, and other direct communication channels.
Research:
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential target markets, companies, and key decision-makers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape to refine outreach strategies.
Cold Calling & Scripts:
- Execute cold calling campaigns to generate interest and qualify leads.
- Develop, refine, and utilize scripts to effectively communicate value propositions.
Crafting Compelling Content:
- Develop and tailor personalized messages and scripts to engage prospects effectively.
Manual Emails and LinkedIn Outreach:
- Draft and send personalized emails and LinkedIn messages to engage with prospects.
- Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
Test Drive Messaging:
- Experiment with and optimize messaging approaches to improve conversion rates.
- Analyze the effectiveness of different outreach strategies and adjust accordingly.
What we are looking for in you:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Business Development Representative or in a similar sales role.
- Proven track record of successfully generating leads and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling messages.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and other social media platforms for prospecting and outreach.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule
