We're looking for an Accounting Manager who genuinely enjoys the variety of client work - someone who wants to be a real partner to the businesses they support, not just a name on the org chart. You'll be there for the exciting moments (fundraising, M&A) and the harder ones (transitions, growth pains), and you'll help clients build the financial foundation to handle both.
What You'll Own:
- Month-end close: journal entries, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple entities
- Full-cycle accounting operations, including AP/AR oversight and general ledger management
- Financial reporting packages, including dashboards and KPI reporting
- Payroll oversight and support for year-end audit and tax engagements
- Helping clients tighten up processes and internal controls as they scale
- Potential oversight of a Senior Accountant
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years as an Accounting Manager, ideally across a mix of industries or client types
- A strong handle on GAAP and month-end close
- Comfort with QuickBooks Online and/or ERP systems (ex., NetSuite); advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of tax filings (1099s, sales tax forms)
- A knack for juggling multiple clients and entities without dropping the ball — and genuinely enjoying the client relationships along the way
Compensation & Logistics:
- $55–75/hour, based on experience level
- Remote, with occasional in-person meetings/events
- Must live in Colorado, Arizona, or Florida
- 25–35+ hours/week, with a flexible schedule that works around your life
