We are looking for an ambitious Financial Analyst to join our European finance team within the FP&A function.
This is a key position for an aspiring, ambitious finance professional who is motivated to contribute to develop the European finance function as BeiGene pursues its growth around the world. The incumbent must have a willingness and ability to deal with detailed tactical and operational items while not losing sight of the overall big picture. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, organized and results driven individual with strong technical and communication skills, judgment, and problem-solving skills with the capacity to work in a fast
paced environment. The ideal candidate portrays strong willingness and eagerness to learn and engage in operational finance.
EXPERIENCE OF WORKING FOR A PHARMACEUTICAL, BIO-PHARMA COMPANY IS MANDATORRY
Essential Functions of the job:
• Leverage expertise in Power BI/DAX and data analysis to develop data visualization, dashboards, reports to communicate findings to the European team.
• Support the European Finance team with management reporting for the various commercial, RD and administrative functions across the European region.
• Support the European Finance team with preparation of pertinent financial analysis to assist business leaders in achieving their financial objectives.
• Support the European Finance team to prepare financial inputs into forecasting, budget and long-range planning and the strategic planning and annual budgeting processes for the region.
• Recommend solutions for business/process/technical/analytical issues that arise in every day work challenges current methods to improve accuracy/efficiency.
• Working closely with the European team to ensure data accuracy, and take charge of current BI projects
• Miscellaneous projects as they arise including assisting the European team with multi-country projects
Requirements:
• Expert level power BI/DAX - demonstrated experience in having created & modified data visualization dashboards
• 2 years+ of relevant experience in Finance, Forecasting or Analytics (BI)
• Experience in building out/establishing financial tools in an international FP&A function
• Comfortable in operating in a fast-paced evolving environment
• Experience of delivering insightful point of view from data and ability to present analysis, information
and reporting's in a clear and impactful way.
• Excellent communication skills with fluent English, the ability to work well with all levels and departments within the company.
Computer Skills:
SAP S/4 Hana, Excel, Power BI-data modeling, visualization, advanced analytical techniques.
