FP&A Manager 

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager. The right candidate would work across all teams to design and facilitate financial planning & analysis systems that allow Pura to strategically manage its business and financial metrics.

This is an IC role (not managing people).

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, analyze, and report the financial performance to the senior leadership team.
• Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts for use with internal management and external parties.
• Optimize working capital as part of cash management.
• Responsible for corporate liquidity, investments, and risk management related to the company's financial activities.
• Increasing the timeliness of the monthly close through streamlining processes, while improving the accuracy and predictability of monthly results.
• Work with the FP&A team on the monthly reporting and providing suggestions for insightful analyses.
• Bring an understanding of SAAS metrics and contribute to the weekly analysis, discussions and action plans.
• Dive into revenue reporting and be a partner to the sales and marketing teams.
• Establish credibility throughout the organization as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
• Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting including GAAP and compliance with internal controls.
• Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company.
• Coordinate activities with outside audit firms, tax preparers and other accounting experts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field 
• Ten+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of both controllership and FP&A
• Proven experience in accounting function and in identifying and driving improvements
• Solid understanding of GAAP and applicable regulations
• Ability to produce forecasted cashflows and balance sheet
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex financial information in clear terms
• Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks

Preferred 

• Masters degree in accounting or MBA
• CPA
• Experience with Netsuite and Carta
• Consumer technology
