This role is remote in the U.S / Canada (Eastern Time Zone preferred) and reports to a remote manager.


Role

The FP&A Manager will report directly to the CFO. The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing financial strategies within an organization. This position involves a combination of financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making by senior management. The role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required. Major in business, accounting, or finance, or economics preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in banking, private equity, or finance roles at growth companiesExperience with SaaS company preferred
  • Experience with M&A and Private Equity is preferred
  • Experience building teams and setting up financial systems and processes from scratch preferredStrong demonstrated use of Excel/Google Sheet skills for budget and financial modeling
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting tools, such as Netsuite, Vena.

  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail. Able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment and re-prioritize with ease.

Responsibilities

  •  Partner with the executive team and cross functional leaders to drive execution against the company’s financial and operational goals
  • Lead the company’s strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long term planning efforts.
  • Own the company’s financial model
  • Provide support to the M&A process, including but not limited to financial due diligence, modeling and overall deal evaluation including the oversight of integration and financial consolidation, post acquisition
  • Develop benchmarking, KPIs, and other frameworks to help drive growth as we scale
  • Prepare presentations/financial reports for board and investor meetings, as well monthly/quarterly senior leadership meetings of the company
  • Support accounting operations
  • Provide assistance to the annual audit processContribute to the development and improvement of financial processes and systems
