Unilabs is the largest provider of medical laboratory diagnostics for prescribers and hospitals in Switzerland and employs around 800 people.
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Controller to join our Swiss finance team, from Porto. This role is critical in in FP&A activities and in supporting the production, reporting, and analysis of financial performance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Produce, analyze and comment financial reporting, and related key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Variance Analysis: Perform in-depth variance analysis between actuals, budget, and forecasts, providing insights to Controlling Team & Business Stakeholders.
• Financial Data Management: Ensure timely and accurate financial data production and maintain data integrity across financial systems.
• Support Strategic Decision-Making: Provide actionable insights and financial models to support business planning and performance optimization.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Accounting, and Business units to gather necessary data and ensure smooth financial processes.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements in reporting and forecasting.
• Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A or financial controlling experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong financial modelling, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial planning tools (e.g., Tagetik, Power BI).
• Solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and business performance metrics.
• Strong organizational skills and collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Self-driven, autonomous, active in engaging remotely with business-owners and communicate timely and effectively at 360°
• Attention to detail, critical-thinking and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Fluent in English. Proficiency (B2) in French is a plus
