About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to support our Senior Corporate Development Associate in various financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tasks. This role is integral to our corporate development team and involves a variety of responsibilities, including financial modeling, pricing models for contracts, budgeting, monthly cost and variance analyses, review and reconciliation of monthly financial data, and market research.
Develop and Maintain Financial and Pricing Models
- Assist in creating and maintaining detailed financial models and pricing models for contracts to support strategic initiatives and business planning, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company objectives.
Support Budgeting and Financial Analysis
- Aid in the preparation of budget templates, data collection, and variance analysis. Perform monthly cost and variance analyses, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to senior management.
Ensure Accurate Financial Reporting
- Review and reconcile monthly financial data to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports, and prepare presentations and reports summarizing findings and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.
Conduct Market Research and Collaborative Analysis
- Perform market research to support corporate development initiatives, including competitive analysis and industry benchmarking. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, and support the Senior Corporate Development Associate in ad-hoc projects and analyses as required.
Prepare Presentations and Reports
- Summarize findings and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders through reports and presentations.
Assist in Ad-Hoc Projects
- Support the Senior Corporate Development Associate in ad-hoc projects and analyses as required.
Talent Management
- Collaborate with the Talent team to actively engage in the hiring and recruitment process, including but not limited to participating in interviews.
- Leverage industry networks and expertise to identify and attract top talent that aligns with the company's objectives and values.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members within your department and across diverse functions.
- Play an integral role in shaping and reinforcing the overall company culture, promoting values that enhance teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.
Additional Responsibilities
- Must be available for on-call duty during peak periods, providing support outside of regular working hours as needed to ensure the timely completion of critical tasks.
- Although we work in a remote-first environment, this role requires in-person attendance at our headquarters approximately four times per year. These visits are essential for team collaboration, strategic planning, and fostering deeper connections across the organization. Travel arrangements will be supported to ensure a seamless experience.
- Must be available to travel up to 5%
- Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central time zone of the Unites States and must be available for ET meetings.
You Have:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, related field or relevant experience
Experience
- At least two years of experience in FP&A
- Technology or payment industry experience is a plus
Knowledge
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills and ability to create and analyze investment decks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Softheon offers every full-time employee a comprehensive compensation and benefits package including:
- Base Salary of $75,000-$85,000
- Work from your home company with a one-time home office stipend
