We’re seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance department. As part of the Finance team, you will help derive key business insights through data analysis.  This position will have the opportunity to collaborate with various teams across the organization, and will play a key part in managing CoinFlip’s financial forecasts. 

Responsibilities:  

• The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will play a critical role in the company as a key member of the management reporting function 

• This person will work closely with the senior management team and other business and finance leaders, and is a highly visible position within the Company 

• Building a consistent framework for analyzing and reporting on the growth, profitability and returns of our business segments 

• Creating and maintaining short-term and long-range business forecasts through intuitive modeling 

• Analyze and monitor key financial trends and critical metrics for the company for internal reporting to the leadership team to support business decisions, as well as review and understand key variances and business drivers 

• Supporting quarterly, annual and ad hoc Board reporting cycles to deliver actionable information for recommendations to senior management 

• Delivering frequent and time sensitive ad hoc analyses, including new business cases and bottoms up ROI evaluations 

• Investigate and resolve complex problems on short notice while managing competing priorities 

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field  

• 1-4 years of FP&A experience 

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint are required 

• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts as they relate to financial modeling and analysis 

• Practical knowledge and understanding of financial analysis techniques and methodologies, financial and business planning, and budgeting and forecasting processes 

• Ability to understand and highlight insights from data analytics 

• Ability to handle competing priorities effectively, making good decisions based on business priorities and objectives 

• Ability to cross collaborate with key leaders of the business 

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy 

• Basic knowledge of Cryptocurrency and blockchains 

• General passion and knowledge of fintech and crypto 

• High level of inquisitiveness, initiative, and critical thinking
