Job Title: FP&A Analyst, Senior – Flowserve Flow Control Division
Job Summary:
The FP&A Analyst, Senior for Flowserve’s Flow Control Division examines financial data and uses their findings to help the company to make business decisions. More specifically, the FP&A Analysts research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions along with company fundamentals to make predictions about businesses, sectors, and industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Analysis and Reporting: review and analysis of project costing, gross margin analysis, direct charges, inventory evaluation.
- Bookings and Backlog: review and report proper net Backlog values monthly.
- Monthly reconciliations: balance sheet and P&L in accordance with US GAAP and local GAAP.
- Sox and Audit: maintain Sox compliance with Group Accounting Policies, Statutory Accounting Principles and Legal/Fiscal local regulations.
- Statutory Accounts: support for the Annual Financial Statement preparation
Required Experience / Skills:
- BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience
- Extensive Excel knowledge including advanced functions with Excel required (Pivot tables, Vlook ups, etc)
- Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and SOX regulations
- Experience with structured ERP, SAP and consolidated reporting systems.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing industry is highly desirable
