About the Role

Demandbase is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager based in India to join our dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial analysis and budget management — preferably within a SaaS or technology environment. You'll play a key role in supporting our GTM FP&A function, working closely with US-based finance and business partners to deliver accurate actuals, forecasts, and actionable insights that drive efficiency and sound decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Support GTM FP&A budget management, partnering with US finance counterparts to maintain alignment between approved plans and actuals

  • Update actuals and reconcile headcount and spend data from NetSuite on a regular cadence, investigating and resolving discrepancies with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Prepare accruals and journal entries as part of the monthly close process, coordinating with the Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate close activities

  • Own headcount forecast updates, tracking open roles, hiring timelines, and related cost impacts; partner closely with People and Recruiting to ensure alignment with hiring plans and financial targets

  • Partner closely with Accounting to deliver accurate monthly expense forecasts, ensuring alignment with close timelines and actuals

  • Drive Budget vs. Actuals (BvA) analysis for GTM functions, identifying risks and opportunities and communicating findings clearly to US-based stakeholders

  • Build and maintain financial models and reporting in Google Sheets, Adaptive Insights, and NetSuite to support ongoing planning and analysis

  • Support preparation of reporting packages and materials for senior finance leadership, with clear storytelling of financial performance and outlook

  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, data integrity, and planning workflows across the FP&A function

What We Are Looking For
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, or management accounting within a technology or software company

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including accruals, journal entries, and month-end close processes

  • Experience working with NetSuite (pulling reports, reconciling actuals and headcount)

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling); experience with Adaptive Insights / Workday Adaptive Planning strongly preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills; able to clearly synthesize insights and work effectively with US-based cross-functional partners across time zones

  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and key metrics (e.g., ARR, CAC, margin structure) preferred

  • Self-starter with a high level of ownership and attention to detail; able to operate in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement

  • Strong business judgment and curiosity; motivated to be a trusted finance partner across the organization

What We Do

Demandbase is the Smarter GTM™ company for B2B brands. We help marketing and sales teams overcome the disruptive data and technology fragmentation that inhibits insight and forces them to spam their prospects. We do this by injecting Account Intelligence into every step of the buyer journey, wherever you interact with customers, and by helping you orchestrate every action across systems and channels — through advertising, account-based experience, and sales motions. The result? You spot opportunities earlier, engage with them more intelligently, and close deals faster. Any of that sound interesting to you?
