About the Opportunity:
We are hiring a FP&A Manager, based in the Minnesota area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to get in on the ground floor of the finance team and work for a company experiencing a period of rapid growth. You’ll own and manage the Adaptive Planning tool and be the primary business partner for COS and Opex. This is a high impact, individual contributor role that will enable key business decisions, and contribute significantly to VuMedi’s growth goals.
This is a hybrid role, working 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) in our Minneapolis (St. Louis Park) office.
What You’ll Do:
- Be a strategic business partner to leaders in COS and Opex departments. This includes monthly forecasting for headcount and opex, annual planning, insightful variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial modeling support.
- Be our Adaptive Planning power user. Continually develop and implement improvements.
- Assist in the development and generation of financial reports, dashboards, and data analytics to support decision-making
- Generate monthly/quarterly reports for the executive team and board of directors.
- Identify opportunities to save costs or increase efficient usage of resources.
- Assist in long-term strategic planning, including annual planning, trends within our industry, and competitive analysis.
- Work to continuously develop and improve existing FP&A processes.
Who you are:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- You bring 5–8 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, analysis, or corporate finance, with SaaS, healthcare, or startup experience as a plus.
- You are highly proficient in managing planning tools, Excel, and financial modeling.
- You are competent with GAAP principles and have direct experience working with Accounting teams.
- You have experience integrating AI tools into FP&A processes (preferred).
- You possess strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- You communicate and present effectively, able to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines with ease.
