JOB OVERVIEW
The Business Finance FP&A Team as a whole is responsible for providing financial support and guidance to key departments within the team. As part of that team, the role will collaborate closely with department leads (Strategic Business Groups, Practices and Functions) to develop and execute financial forecasts that align with business objectives and which can then be tracked and reported against for performance.
The role requires a subject matter expert with a focus on our order book, sales and revenue generation across all forms of the business and cost forecasting of operating costs as well as SG&A. This role will have oversight of the full business P&L.
The role focuses on financial, business, and commercial growth. The Business Finance FP&A Lead assesses trends, identifies performance issues and opportunities to ensure that the business delivers sales and revenue and is forecasting the future pipeline and profitability with completeness and accuracy.
He/She will be involved in and review complex deals from a commercial perspective to assist in winning and retaining clients.
The role involves analysing financial data, identifying trends and patterns, and offering insights and recommendations to facilitate decision-making. The Business Finance FP&A Lead will also work with various senior leaders to develop and implement financial strategies that support business goals. This includes creating and maintaining financial models and forecasts to aid decision-making and analysing financial data to identify trends and patterns.
In addition, He/She will lead the finance analyst team in Manila to monitor and report on financial metrics and business drivers performances that drive profitability enhancement, with appropriate involvement in, and review of, complex deals to assist in winning and retaining clients.
A mindset of efficiency accuracy is vital to success. The FP&A Lead will lead and train the team to automate manual tasks and focus talent on analysis over production. This is central to delivering the team’s capability. Demonstrated examples of such automation or creation of dashboards and agents from a candidate’s prior roles will be a determinant for hiring into this role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Budgets, forecasting and reporting
- Own budgets, rolling forecasts, long‑range planning and monthly reporting.
- Developing and managing budgets in collaboration with department heads and Finance Business partners
- Creating and maintaining accurate financial forecasts
- Producing financial reports for senior management and key stakeholders
- Monitoring and analysing financial performance against budgets and forecasts
- Responsible to drive reporting process for Monthly Business Review across the team
- Developing and managing budgets in collaboration with department heads

- Develop key presentation decks on Sales, Revenue and Forecasts and associated business and financial drivers to assist the team.
- Forecasting accuracy and Data Governance
- Delivering a high quality forecasting model that is sustainable and scalable month to month and year to year.
- In partnership with Financial Controller, delivery timely and simple variance analysis each month to Finance and Business leaders at the Australian and Group level.
- Developing a robust data governance model for ongoing cost centre analysis and reporting at functional and operational levels in real-time, without manual intervention. Business is measured around four operating groups, three service groups and a number of product practices.
- Continuous improvement and Automation of FP&A processes
- Identifying opportunities for improving financial processes and procedures
- Implementing best practices for financial management, including KPI dashboarding, agentic forecasting and modelling, automated preparation of Board presentations among key areas.
- Driving efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact of process improvements
- Coaching and developing FP&A talent towards analysis and insights over building spreadsheets.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education and Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting and Business.
- (Good to have) Professional certification (CPA/CA)
- Work Experience
- 10+ years of relevant working experience in FP&A and Management Reporting.
- Service Industry revenue drivers (Hours, Rates, Recovery, WIP)
