Position Overview
The FP&A Intern will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day FP&A activities of the division. This includes Month End analysis, reconciliation, budget preparation, forecasting, and risk and opportunity / gap close analysis. The role will also be pivotal in supporting our implementation of Zero Based Budgeting across EMEA. The intern will contribute to the optimization of budgeting tools, assist in forecasting processes, and develop automation solutions to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
What you'll do
- Assist in automating budget preparation and financial consolidation processes
- Support the development of forecasting models to enhance financial planning accuracy
- Perform variance analysis and create dashboards to monitor financial performance.
- Work with finance teams to streamline data collection and reporting workflows.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial decision-making
Who you are
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Living locally to Rotterdam as this role is office based.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with financial modelling, Power BI, or SQL is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present financial insights.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Must have right to work status in The Netherlands.
