About the Role:

We are looking for an FP&A & GL Analyst to join Wiley's Finance team. Reporting to the Manager and FP&A Team Lead, this role will support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and general ledger activities across Wiley's global operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing support function, working with stakeholders across regions to deliver insights, improve processes, and support key finance activities.

How you will make an impact
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close and forecasting activities.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and financial reports.
  • Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing management reporting packs and ad hoc analysis.
  • Collaborate with global finance teams and business stakeholders.
  • Support transitions of new FP&A processes into the Shared Services environment.
  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives.
  • Support KPI reporting and audit requests as required.
What we are looking for
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, General Ledger, Reporting, or Shared Services Finance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting activities.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools such as Power BI, TM1, EPM, or similar systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a global environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and a strong attention to detail.

Skills Required
