About you
Diamond Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a strategic, analytically strong FP&A Enterprise Data & Performance Reporting Lead. This role has a preferred location of Houston, TX or Midland, MI. Will also consider other United States Diamond Infrastructure Solutions key sites.
We’re looking for a disciplined, curious, and highly capable FP&A professional who can help manage, govern, analyze, and report on enterprise performance data across financial, program value, operational, and functional KPIs. This role sits within Diamond’s FP&A team under Finance and works cross-functionally with business and functional leaders to understand KPI requirements, ensure data integrity and availability, and translate reporting outputs into meaningful business insights. The role is more than report creation; it requires strong financial acumen, independent judgment, and the ability to interpret trends, recommend actions, and connect data insights to enterprise performance, budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and Diamond’s value creation program.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business and functional leads to define, understand, and maintain enterprise KPIs across financial, program value, operational, and functional performance areas.
- Serve as a data steward and analyst for critical FP&A and enterprise performance reporting, ensuring data integrity, availability, consistency, and traceability across sources.
- Design, build, test, publish, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Python, Databricks, Power Query, and Power BI.
- Upgrade existing reporting solutions and develop new reporting capabilities where needed, with ongoing accountability for maintenance, quality, and usability after deployment.
- Use strong financial acumen to interpret report outputs, identify trends, validate drivers, and recommend actions that support strategic decision-making and enterprise performance improvement.
- Support Diamond’s value creation program by linking growth and efficiency targets, value tracking, KPI reporting, and annual budget accountability into integrated performance views.
- Validate, reconcile, and analyze financial impacts of program initiatives, ensuring reported value is aligned with budgets, forecasts, business plans, and FP&A processes.
- Work independently across workstreams to anticipate reporting, data, and analytical needs; drive progress against objectives rather than only responding to report requests.
- Ensure reporting and visualization products are clear, decision-ready, and designed to drive the right strategic and operational actions.
- Create, interpret, modify, and test Python- and Power Query-based reporting logic used in internal financial reporting tools, with financial integrity as a core requirement.
- Operate with strong initiative, curiosity, attention to detail, and disciplined execution to meet non-negotiable reporting timelines and deadlines.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Information System or related field
- 5+ years in FP&A, finance analytics, business performance management, enterprise reporting, or similar roles
- Proven ability to manipulate data, build reporting solutions, interpret results, and support business decision-making
- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Databricks certifications or related technical certifications, preferred
Skills
- Financial Acumen - Strong understanding of financial statements, cost structures, forecasting, budgeting, business planning, and value drivers, with the ability to interpret results and assess performance implications.
- Data Stewardship & Integrity - Disciplined approach to ensuring enterprise data is accurate, available, consistent, traceable, and fit for management reporting and decision-making.
- Technical Reporting & Automation - Proven capability using Python, Databricks, Power Query, and Power BI to create, modify, test, publish, and maintain financial and performance reporting solutions.
- Data Manipulation & Visualization - Strong ability to transform complex datasets into clear dashboards, reports, and visual narratives that highlight trends, risks, opportunities, and required actions.
- KPI & Trend Interpretation - Ability to define, analyze, and interpret financial, operational, program value, and functional KPIs; identify trends and recommend actions that improve enterprise performance.
- Value Program Integration - Experience supporting value tracking, growth and efficiency targets, financial impact validation, budget linkages, reconciliations, and performance accountability.
- Independent Execution - Strong initiative and ability to work across workstreams, anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and deliver accurate outputs against firm deadlines.
- Business Partnership & Communication - Ability to partner with business and functional leaders, challenge assumptions constructively, and translate technical data outputs into clear, decision-ready insights for management.
