The FP&A Analyst role will partner closely with our VP, FP&A & Estimating to support financial reporting, forecasting, preparation of executive presentations and other strategic analysis.  Within FP&A Special Projects, you will be responsible for producing accurate internal and external reports, communicating with program managers to build accurate forecasts, and understanding reporting requirements for existing contracts and future proposals.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience using Deltek Costpoint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business results, KPIs, and trends to deliver actionable recommendations to Senior Leadership
  • Develop, manage, and automate operational reporting and dashboards to supervise business performance
  • Drive annual strategic and financial planning processes
  • Partner with accounting team to support the monthly close process, ensuring entries are booked timely and accurately
  • Lead and complete the price volume development for government proposals
  • Ensure company proposals are in compliance with government pricing requirements
  • Work with sub-contractors to ensure their pricing is provided in the correct government pricing template

Qualifications

  • 5 - 7 years of FP&A experience in a Corporate environment and/or relevant experience in consulting or investment banking
  • Exceptional data analysis and financial modeling capabilities
  • Must possess advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience in EVMS application and maintenance
  • Strong communicator and collaborator with the ability to present detailed analysis in a clear, concise manner
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills, with the ability to present complex information to executives and the Board.

Compensation

  • $82,000-$158,000

This position is located in Mojave, CA.  Consideration for remote position for well-qualified candidates.

Base salary and leveling are established on a case-by-case basis. We consider several factors to ensure a competitive offer, including your location, educational background, and a comprehensive assessment of the skills and experience demonstrated during your interviews.
