Your Responsibilities
As a Foundry Engineer Simulation for JD Waterloo Works located in Waterloo, IA, you will collaborate with experienced engineers to define project goals and requirements. In addition, you will:• Apply Magma simulation software to analyze and optimize casting processes for improved yield and reduced defects.• Generate detailed 3D models and drawings using Creo modeling software to enhance component design and manufacturability.• Participate in cross-functional discussions to integrate simulation and modeling outcomes into production workflows.• Assist in interpreting simulation results and translating them into actionable insights for process improvement.

What Skills You Need
- Experience in Creo or other modeling software
- Basic understanding of materials properties and manufacturing processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Foundry Process and tooling experience
- Familiarity with Magma simulation software (or similar)
