What We Do

Loula is a software platform and provider network for independent birth & postpartum doulas who accept health insurance (including Medicaid/Medi-Cal). Doulas typically operate outside of the traditional healthcare system and face an enormous learning curve and administrative burden when trying to accept insurance. This is why we created Loula. Starting with doulas in California, Loula handles their credentialing, contracting, and revenue cycle management so that they can focus on delivering the best quality care to their clients.

Why Work With Us

Loula is a mission-driven, early-stage startup working to make doula care more accessible to the families who need it most. We’re a small, inclusive team that values diversity, collaboration, and trust. Everyone on the team has a voice, and your work directly contributes to meaningful change in perinatal care.
