We are a VC backed startup with a vision to transform the creaking world of B2B payments.
Online payments might seem slick to the consumer. But when businesses pay each other, tens of trillions of dollars are exchanged every year through a messy web of people manually chasing and reconciling invoices, checks and bank transfers. Our vision is a flexible, AI-powered network for B2B payments. We're starting with an AI accounts receivable assistant that makes getting paid faster, cheaper and easier.
Founded by the former Chief Product & Growth Officer of a fintech unicorn, we’re building a small but mighty team to find product-market fit together.
Your role
As our founding growth leader, you’ll be empowered (and expected!) to do whatever it takes to help us grow the business. You’ll join the founder and founding engineers as we progress from beta testing to launch and beyond. Your primary focus will be driving demand, but as part of the founding team you’ll be working across go-to-market areas and we can shape the role with you.
We believe Growth is about experimenting to learn what works, so while we’re bursting with ideas we’re not looking for someone to execute a fixed set of channels - and don’t think you should think that way, either. You should expect to work closely with product, given we’re Product-Led Growth practitioners and huge believers in the importance of a product so good that people want to be the first ones to recommend it.
Like everyone in the founding team, this role will initially focus on making things happen fast yourself, but we’d love you to be there to build a team as we grow the business together.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has already delivered compelling results leading Growth or Marketing at an early-stage B2B startup, but this is a founding team and we’re open to exceptional people from across a range of backgrounds and go-to-market roles.
Candidates from all backgrounds should be:
- Hands-on, impact-focused and probably a little bit impatient
- Willing to think outside the box to get results
- Familiar with what great looks like in go-to market for B2B SaaS / software
- A great team player that thrives on working well with others
Bonus points for any and all of the below
- Broader commercial leadership experience
- Experience as a founder or in early-stage startups
- Experience launching new products
- Expertise across B2B acquisition channels
- Experience in fintech / payments
- Experience with PLG and self-serve
