Founding Freelance Recruiter (Portugal & EU)

We are different. Yes, we are also a recruitment agency, but we are building something smarter, cooler with potential to become how a talent company should be in the age of AI. And in the age of AI, the words you read now are being written from central Lisbon, by Leo, the founder of ambi. (we still like to write our stuff, we are kind of old school in this sense).

We are looking for a very ambitious and smart freelance recruiter (at the beginning, at least), with a go-getter attitude, who will fight for every placement, such is interested in work side by side with the founder to open new markets, create content, lead new projects and keep building the most disruptive recruitment company possible.

2. Develop: ambi.reset Our education arm. For candidates and professionals who want to navigate modern careers with more clarity.
3. Hire: ambi careers, uur recruiting arm. We hire across Europe, Brazil, US and UK, with teams in Portugal, Spain and Brazil. We’ve built teams. We’ve been inside startups.
The job
It is really simple: as we are growing our candidate database and increasing clients' demand, we need support in finding, qualifying, and conducting full-cycle recruitment for specific jobs, besides having total freedom to create new things. So if you feel like joining a very smart, no bs and remote agency, make decent commissions working remotely within a completely autonomous schedule, and have the chance to be part of something big, apply and let's have a virtual coffee! Important to reinforce that at the beginning this is a success-based freelancing role, paid by closed jobs.
The job is for you if...

You have previous experience as a Freelancer Recruiter speaks Portuguese and English.
You are smart and ambitious. You and other people around you know it.
You are smart and you know it - and are not afraid of saying you are. You do great boolean search, use AI to create automations, you can write Linkedin posts, interview like a conversation not like a robot.

You probably feel you could do more money from what you do at your current or previous company, and if you work at a recruitment agency, you don't see yourself following the path of your leaders. You don't wanna be like them, and it's ok.
You speak fluent English and Portuguese. Most of our clients and candidates are native English speakers.
You have a growth mindset. You are also contributing to building ambi. from the beginning, so new opportunities could appear in the mid-term.
You are fine working as a freelance contractor. You take the risk as we do, and we all get paid based on the placements. We aim to be the #1 agency for startups and scaleups in our region, so we work with a few, but great freelance recruiters, based on a respectful and trustworthy relationship.
You realized you are different from the ones managing you. You know you could do more, learn new things, explore new worlds.
The job IS NOT for you if...
You hate speaking with candidates and clients.
You don´t like the idea of freelancing or getting success-based commissions.
You are arrogant and don´t know what empathy is.
You just want to do regular recruiting like 5 years ago.

You don't have experience recruiting for startups in europe or the US.
Again, English is a must, and another fluent language would be awesome.
