Tech Lead - Fullstack + AI (m/f/d)

Recently, we've paired with one of Project A's newest seed-stage investments to search for a Tech Lead (m/f/x) to join their Team and work closely with the Co-Founders to align the business mission and customer needs with a sound technical vision. As one of the first Team Members to join their Team (Berlin or Mannheim, Germany), you'll build and drive the development of their AI-powered SaaS products while fostering a high-performing engineering culture.

Join the A11 Ecosystem: a German-based startup that’s harnessing AI technologies to improve working capital and create circular supply chains for industrial manufacturing companies.  

• Lead the ideation, conceptualization and definition of architecture and technologies in alignment with the business strategy
• Design and build full-stack technologies while continuously pushing the AI capabilities of our portfolio company’s product
• Write code fast and scrap it even faster, knowing when to transition to building for scale and quality
• Lead customer conversations and translate insights into product features and tech strategy
• Work with the CEO and Head of Product to ensure the development and execution of the Product strategy, in alignment with the broader business strategy
• Take ultimate responsibility for the day-to-day functioning of the platform, and demo system as well as coordinating safe deployments and maintenance tasks
• Build up the Tech Team (software + data) while establishing a great engineering culture 

• Evaluate critical engineering issues and take final decisions with respect the problem-solving within this area
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure the platform meets the highest quality, information and cyber security requirements
• Define and control milestones, priorities and deadlines according to the product and tech roadmap
• Setup and maintain processes to guarantee structure, quality and speed / efficiency: e.g. Deployment, Scrum, Documentation

• Strong, hands-on experience in back-end/full-stack engineering (ideally haven built AI-powered products and SaaS solutions) 
• Entrepreneurial drive with a “fail fast” and learn faster mentality
• Ability to manage complex, data-driven projects, fostering collaboration across Tech and Business departments
• Capacity to collaborate with external teams with respect to third-party integrations via API or others (e.g. knowledge of main ERPs)
• You've worked with Postgres, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Python, Terraform Neo4j, Langchain and RAG, AWS, React, Typescript, Node.JS
• Experience leading, growing and developing high performing tech teams
• Transparent, efficient and proactive communication about challenges, possible pitfalls and time constraints as well as ideas for innovative solutions
• High sense of ownership - you're eager to take on everything from conception to deployment
• Enjoy talking to customers and iterating based on feedback
• Strong communications in English. German is advantageous
• Experience as a Tech Entrepreneur or Technical Co-founder will be highly regarded 
• Experience in manufacturing or supply chain industries is a plus!
