Founding AI Design Engineer

We're building Vibiz.ai, the first Vibe Business Platform. We're VC-backed, have hundreds of paying customers, and we're building an AI agent that autonomously runs and grows businesses - spending budget, making decisions, executing actions, and driving real results.

We're looking for a Founding AI Product Designer - a design engineer who has taste, builds beautiful things, and ships them to production. Not a designer who hands off Figma files. A designer whose medium is code, whose obsession is craft, and whose work makes people feel something the moment they touch the product.

• Design and build agentic interfaces that feel magical - the AI does the work, the user stays in control

• Own end-to-end: from concept to Figma to working code in production

• Invent new UX patterns for AI-native products - this category doesn't have a playbook yet

• Ship UI components yourself using Cursor and Claude Code - no waiting for engineering

• Obsess over the details that make a product feel alive - animations, transitions, micro-interactions, typography

• Define the visual identity, design system, and brand language of a product, creating a new category

• Work directly with founders and engineers - zero handoff, zero layers

• Make decisions with conviction - we believe in taste-driven development, not A/B testing everything

• Design: Figma, or something new you only know about?

• Building: Cursor, Claude Code, v0 - whatever takes you to production asap

• Frontend: React, Next.js, Tailwind, Framer Motion - whatever you need to ship polished UI

• AI tools: you know the latest great tool before anybody else

• Prototyping: Framer, Vercel - whatever ships fastest

• Speed > perfection

• A design engineer - you design beautiful things AND ship them to production

• Someone with real taste - you know what good looks like and you can't unsee bad

• Obsessed with craft - polished interactions, no dropped frames, no cross-browser jank

• AI-native - you use AI tools as part of your creative process, not as a novelty

• Opinionated - you have conviction about how things should look and feel

• Comfortable with chaos - we're inventing the patterns, not following them

• Builder > employee

• Taste > process

• Speed > perfection

• Impact > title

• You can show work that is genuinely beautiful - not just functional, beautiful

• You ship your own designs to production

• You use AI tools daily as part of your design workflow (non-negotiable)

• You live within 1 hour of Milan or are ready to relocate (mandatory)

• You can show a real portfolio with shipped products, not just concepts

• Active on X / Twitter sharing design work, experiments, or builds

• Deep knowledge of motion design, spring animations, and interaction physics

• You know who Rauno, Emil Kowalski, or Paco Coursey are - and why their work matters

• You've built and shipped your own side projects or products

• Background in early-stage startups - you've shaped a product from zero

• You care about typography, spacing, and color the way most people care about deadlines
