About us

Hey there! We're Lleverage, and we're making the Autonomous Back Office actually achievable for businesses in the physical economy. We enable teams to capture, automate, and integrate AI agents and workflows into their business, their IT landscape and their processes, because AI is only useful when it actually fits into daily operations.

We help the most strategic European industries (manufacturing, logistics, and wholesale) automate the messy, manual processes that most tools can't handle. Not simple task automation, but AI agents that run full operational workflows: intake, decisions, exceptions, and the edge cases that break everything else, all inside the systems our customers already use.

We're a fast-growing, VC-backed scale-up based in Amsterdam, with big ambitions and the momentum to back them up. This is your chance to join early, have real impact, and grow alongside the company. If that sounds like something you want to help build, we'd love to have you on board!

About the role

Right now, our founders run our accounts themselves, in between everything else they do. Even witht his set-up, our net revenue retention sits at 155%. Our customers expand because the product delivers, not because anyone is managing them very actively yet.

A lot of pieces are here. The product works. Customers grow. The founders keep the relationships warm. What's missing is a coherent program that ties it together, fills in the missing pieces and accelerate our growth.

We think focused ownership takes NRR past 200% easily. Here's why that's realistic. Every customer starts by automating one workflow, order processing, say, or invoice handling. The bigger opportunity is the rest of their back office: quotes, approvals, exceptions, the next department, the next process. Each account is a path from one agent to an autonomous back office, and nobody is walking customers down that path deliberately yet. You will.

You'll be our first Account Manager, and you'll design the function from the ground up. No worked out playbook is waiting for you, so you'll build it: onboarding, health scoring, expansion motion, QBR structure, the way we talk to customers after they sign. You'll take the accounts off the founders' plate, work directly with them to shape how this works, and set the standard for everyone who joins after you.

This is not a classic AM role, and we're not looking for a classic AM. Renewals and check-in calls are the floor, not the job. This is a strategic cornerstone of our Autonomous Back Office proposition, the person who makes sure customers get real value, expand across workflows, and become the references that pull the next customers in. Land-and-Expand is the corner stone of our growth strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own the accounts. Take over the customers our founders currently manage, and become the person they trust with their operations.

  • Design the function. Build our account management program from scratch: onboarding, adoption, health monitoring, expansion, QBRs. Start from what we've learned so far, then change whatever needs changing. You own how this works.

  • Drive NRR from 155% toward 200%. Grow accounts by finding the next workflow worth automating, proving value, and expanding agents across teams, processes, and departments, moving each customer from one automation toward a fully autonomous back office.

  • Talk strategy with the C-suite. Sit across from operations leaders and executives at manufacturers, wholesalers, and logistics companies. Understand their back office deeply, spot where agents fit next, and map the account like an owner.

  • Set customers up for success. Run the training and enablement that gets teams using the product properly, so adoption sticks and value shows up fast.

  • Own customer communication and lifecycle marketing. Product updates, customer stories, references, the ongoing relationship: this is yours, with support from the GTM team. Turn happy customers into case studies and advocates.

  • Be the voice of the customer. Bring what you hear back to product and shape the roadmap with real operational feedback.

  • Build the team after you. As we grow, you'll define what "good" looks like, hire, and lead the account management team you designed.

What we're looking for

You've operated at a high level in a demanding environment, and you've got the horsepower to prove it. We don't care whether that was investment banking, law, consulting, or building your own company. What matters is that you've worked to a high standard under real pressure, held your own with serious people, and delivered when it counted.

You're a self-starter who doesn't wait for a brief. You see the gap, build the process, and run it without someone looking over your shoulder.

You're tech-savvy and genuinely interested in AI. You don't need to write code, but you understand what our agents do, where they fit, and how to talk about automation credibly with people who run real operations. When a new tool drops, you're the one already trying it.

You can hold your own with executives. You win trust fast, communicate with confidence at every level, and genuinely enjoy turning a customer into a long-term partner.

You're energised by ambiguity. A role with no playbook, industries you may not know yet, a function nobody has built here before: that excites you rather than stops you. You love to build.

You're consultative, not transactional. You understand that expansion comes from genuinely solving the next problem, not pushing an upsell. You listen well and use data to decide where to focus.

You speak English and Dutch fluently. German is a big plus. You're based in Amsterdam.

Nice to haves

  • Experience in a high-performance environment such as banking, law, consulting, PE or an early-stage startup.

  • Previous entrepreneurial experience: built something, ran something, grew something.

  • Networks in manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, or PE.

  • Familiarity with ERP environments like SAP or Business Central.

  • A real habit of using AI tools in your daily work.

Why Lleverage?

  • Design the role, don't inherit it. You're the first AM here. You build the program, set the standard, and grow into leading the team.

  • Own a genuine growth lever. 155% NRR with no one really focused on it yet. What you do here shows up directly in the company's trajectory.

  • Work directly with the founders. No layers. You'll shape how this works alongside the people who built the company.

  • Build a unique network. You'll sit across from the operators running Europe's most strategic industries, and help them run their operations on AI.

  • Compensation. Competitive salary depending on experience, a strong bonus structure (if we win, you win), and an excellent share package that makes this genuinely worth betting on.
