About Novasign

Novasign builds modern SaaS software for the bioprocessing industry.

Our platform, Novasign Studio, combines hybrid modeling, digital twin simulation, and automated workflows to help biotech, biopharma, enzyme manufacturing, and sustainable food companies accelerate development, reduce experimental burden, and make better data-driven decisions.

We sell a technical B2B product to highly specialized customers  and we are scaling.

The Role

We’re hiring a Founding Account Executive to drive revenue and build pipeline at Novasign.

This is a hands-on, full-cycle closing role. You will actively prospect, run discovery, lead demos, manage consultative sales processes, negotiate, and close deals. This is not a strategy-only position — you’ll be in execution mode every week.

You will work directly with the CEO and collaborate closely with product and marketing to sharpen positioning, improve conversion, and build a repeatable sales motion.

What You’ll Do

  • Build pipeline through outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, events)
  • Identify and engage target accounts; create opportunities from scratch
  • Qualify and run structured discovery calls
  • Lead product demos (with technical support when needed)
  • Manage multi-stakeholder, consultative sales cycles including technical evaluation
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear business value and ROI narratives
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
  • Maintain strong CRM hygiene and track pipeline KPIs
  • Represent Novasign at industry events and customer meetings (occasional travel)

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales
  • Proven full-cycle closing track record (you have closed deals end-to-end)
  • Strong outbound muscle: you prospect consistently and you’re comfortable on the phone
  • Experience with consultative sales cycles that span multiple weeks and involve multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to understand and explain technical software solutions with clarity
  • Confidence selling to technical stakeholders (R&D, engineering, process teams)
  • High ownership mindset: structured, persistent, execution-focused
  • Fluent English (spoken & written)
  • Vienna-based (hybrid) or willing to relocate (visa sponsorship available)
  • Exposure to biotech, pharma, life sciences, or industrial process environments — or a proven ability to ramp up quickly in complex, technical domains.
  • Highly self-directed

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with digital twin, hybrid modeling, simulation, or process optimization tools
