Lea and Jonas scaled two of Europe's leading construction tech companies - Capmo and alcemy - and saw firsthand the challenges holding the industry back. Now they're tackling the root cause: the 50% of construction work still lost to manual data handling.

Kuro is the the intelligent project data system for construction. We're reimagining how construction professionals get work done and make decisions by leveraging AI to augment back-office workflows and make core data accessible.

After one year on the market leading construction enterprises with a combined construction volume >30 billion annually use Kuro everyday to automate workflows and make faster, better decisions.

We are 14 people based in Berlin. You will join a group of ex-technical founders and builders that are ambitious and kind.

The Opportunity

As Founder's Associate, you'll work directly with Kuro's founder and CEO Lea across the most critical areas of the business. This is a high-ownership generalist role where no two days look the same — spanning sales, marketing, hiring, and operations. You'll get a front-row seat to building a vertical AI company from the ground up, and you'll be expected to do more than watch.

This role is ideal if you aspire to become a founder yourself. You'll learn how to identify opportunities, prioritize ruthlessly, and build leverage in an early-stage environment — by actually doing it.

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and qualify new leads, develop the top of our sales funnel, and help prepare for industry events

  • Support growing our enterprise accounts with compelling business cases and presentations

Operations & Automation

  • Use AI tools and automation to amplify what a small team can do

Founder Leverage

  • Anticipate needs, remove bottlenecks, and take ownership of whatever moves the company forward fastest

Your profile
  • Fluent in German and English

  • You are a generalist by heart — curious, ambitious, and eager to learn.

  • You have a track record of excellency: you’ve gone deep into a topic, pushed yourself, and achieved outstanding results.

  • You bring a strong technical mindset, are passionate about AI, and ideally have worked in SaaS (B2B enterprise) contexts before.

  • You show a high work ethic, are hands-on, and move things forward with energy and ownership.

  • You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and are excited about startups, entrepreneurship, and eventually becoming a founder yourself.

  3. Challenge — A time-boxed business challenge (≤4 hours)

  4. Challenge review and deep dive (60 minutes)

  5. On-site Day — Meet the team and lunch/dinner
