How the role contributes to the company's vision

As a Founders Associate on our Expansion Team, you will be at the core of what drives bunch’s expansion to the United Kingdom forward. Working closely with our Founders and UK General Manager, you will take on impactful projects that shape our local commercial, operational, and product success. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the growth of bunch from within and gain experience of taking an early-stage market expansion to the next level.

Top Responsibilities

• Conduct UK-specific market research and opportunity assessments to support the Founders and the UK General Manager in new areas for growth, operational improvements, and the launch of new markets, business lines and products.

• Lead the early stages of high-importance, high-urgency projects - from problem definition to actionable plans. Drive data-backed testing of hypotheses through reference calls, targeted research, and rapid prototyping to find solutions quickly.

• Take charge of initiatives across commercial, product, and operations. Work closely with different teams to ensure alignment and effective execution. Step into interim roles as needed to drive outcomes and maintain momentum.

• Build and maintain key partnerships that support our business objectives.

• Monitor key metrics and help prepare materials for board meetings and other investor communications to keep investors informed and aligned with our company's vision and progress.

What You Should Bring With You

• 1-3 years of experience in startups, top-tier consulting, investment banking, venture capital / private equity, or other fast-paced environments.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, science or a related field from a reputable university.

• Excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills to handle multiple projects, with a proven ability to achieve results regardless of the challenges involved.

• Proactive & entrepreneurial mindset, combined with a willingness to dive into new areas, break down complex problems into simple solutions, and take full ownership of outcomes.

• Clear, articulate communication skills in English. German is a plus, but not required.

• Familiarity with low-code/no-code tools or a willingness to learn is a strong advantage.

1. First Interview: Meet with Clara Mailley from the People team to get acquainted with bunch and understand if what we’re offering aligns with what you’re searching for (30min)

2. Deep-dive interview: Meet with Tomás Herrmann, UK General Manager, to discover the role in more detail and discuss how your journey has prepared you for it, your learnings along the way, your goals, and your overall personal purpose (30min)

3. Case Interview: Meet with Tomás Herrmann, UK General Manager, and Johannes Gebendorfer, Head of Strategy & Expansion to demonstrate your way of thinking, working, and communicating your output (60min)

4. Final meeting with our Founder(s) and selected senior leadership to further learn about our vision and discuss any open questions (30min each)

5. Reference Call to get a feel for your relationship-building ability
