Our mission is to underwrite superintelligence. We red-team, certify, and insure agents - working with AI category leaders like ElevenLabs, Lovable, Harvey, UiPath, and Fin. Soon, agents will take on critical work in hospitals, banks and governments. This could create abundance - or go terribly wrong. History teaches us that standards and insurance are capitalism’s best tools for making risk legible and shaping incentives. We’ve built the gold standard for agent security & reliability, AIUC-1, with 100+ CISOs from the Fortune 1000. Our team comes from Anthropic, McKinsey, METR, Palantir, Amazon - 50% are previous founders. We've raised $55m from Ribbit, First Harmonic, and Nat Friedman. Read more here, here, and here.
The RoleThe Founder’s Office at AIUC is a small group of high-agency generalists who work directly with the company’s founding team to tackle the company’s biggest opportunities.
Why are we hiring into this role? AIUC is growing quickly, and there's a lot of important, cross-cutting work that doesn’t necessarily have a clear home in the company. Examples include leading development of the founding talent brand strategy, managing onboarding of new AIUC-1 consortium members, building relationships with strategic partners, and developing co-marketing materials alongside high-profile customers.
In this role, you will have:
High impact, with 70%+ of time spent working on AIUC’s top priorities
Deep exposure to the business and the chance to build trusted working relationships fast, with real mentorship from the founders and senior commercial team members
Room to grow and rotate internally into a specialized path when the time is right (typically 6-12 months, assessed jointly by the employee and founders)
This is a unicorn role: alongside capability, we're looking for personal fit and alignment with company values.
You are compatible with the founding team's working style – direct, detail-oriented, and ambitious (in the best sense). You sweat the details, re-reading every document to ensure there are no typos, and follow through to execute on every detail of a project plan
You proactively seek feedback – you want to improve and are energized by conversations that push your thinking and process, even when they are tough
You are excited to drive things forward – you move fast, take initiative, and don't wait to be told what to do. Whether personally or professionally, you have taken steps that have delivered real outcomes for yourself or others (e.g., at the office, in nonprofit work, personal athletic achievements, artistic pursuits, etc.)
You are comfortable with ambiguity – you trust that your day-to-day priorities will evolve alongside business needs, and are excited about the opportunity to co-design your own role along the way
You have roughly 1-5 years of work experience (the role and initial priorities will be scoped with this in mind), potentially having worked in management consulting, finance, law, at frontier labs, or in top engineering firms
We take onboarding seriously and whenever possible, try to de-risk the entry point on both sides by contracting with candidates to perform a paid work trial to assess mutual fit.
