You’ll work directly with the CEO as a force multiplier on the company’s highest-priority problems.
The role is intentionally broad. Depending on what matters most, your work may span enterprise GTM, recruiting, operations, partnerships, fundraising, compliance, customer success, strategic initiatives, or entirely new problems that emerge as we grow. We expect you to bring structure to ambiguity, operate with minimal direction, and drive important work to completion.
This is not a glamorous “strategy” role. A meaningful part of the job is doing the hard, messy, and sometimes tedious work required to keep a fast-growing company moving. One week you may help move an important enterprise deal forward and another week, you may spend hours solving an operational problem nobody else can own.
This is a high-ownership role for someone unusually ambitious, resourceful, and fast-moving. For exceptional performers, the role can grow toward owning a function or becoming Chief of Staff.
What you'll work onDrive high-priority projects across GTM, recruiting, operations, and company building
Help move complex enterprise opportunities from initial conversation through pilot and close
Research new markets, customers, partnerships, conferences, and distribution opportunities
Build systems and processes that make the company operate faster and more effectively
Help recruit exceptional people and keep hiring processes moving quickly
Prepare high-stakes customer, partner, investor, and internal materials
Take ownership of important problems that don’t yet have a natural owner
Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks across the company
Extremely high agency: You turn ambiguous goals into action, make decisions with incomplete information, and drive work forward without waiting for instructions.
Exceptionally reliable: You close loops. If you own something, others can depend on you fully and stop needing to think about it.
Fast and intellectually curious: You learn unfamiliar domains quickly, synthesize information well, and move comfortably across technical, commercial, and operational problems.
Technically literate: You’re comfortable with software, systems, data, and tooling, and use AI to amplify your output.
Strong judgment: You know what excellent looks like. Whether it’s a customer email, a hiring process, a deck, an event, or an internal workflow, you can distinguish mediocre from exceptional and push the work to the right standard.
An excellent verbal and written communicator: You communicate clearly, concisely, and credibly with executives, engineers, candidates, customers, and partners.
Low ego: You care more about the outcome than the nature of the work. Early-stage companies have both glamorous and unglamorous problems, and you’re willing to solve either when it matters.
We’re looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and experience operating in or around software companies. You might come from engineering, product, technical operations, consulting, or an early-stage startup.
Roughly 2–6 years of experience is the sweet spot, but exceptional candidates outside that range are encouraged to apply. More than any specific pedigree, we value agency, ambition, judgment, reliability, and rate of learning.
Bonus: Past founders, early startup employees, or operators who have thrived in fast-moving environments.
LogisticsLocation: This role is in-person 5 days a week based in San Francisco, California.
Sponsorship: Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor new H1B employment visas at this time.
We offer the following benefits for our full-time employees:
Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits for you and your family
Life Insurance benefits
Retirement Plan (e.g., 401K)
Monthly stipend to support your wellness and commute
Daily lunches/dinners and snacks in the office to fuel you
Generous PTO and sick day policy to rest and recharge
