Role Overview
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, engineering initiatives. This will require working closely with cross-functional teams across many infrastructure and cloud programs. This individual needs to be creative, collaborative, adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Program Leadership: Define and drive the execution of multi-quarter, multi-year complex technical programs. Align technical roadmaps with long-term business goals. Develop and maintain project reporting and dashboards. Communicate with key stakeholders on progress of the project. Ensure teams are working to complete tasks on time.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify, mitigate, and communicate program risks. Manage complex inter-team dependencies to prevent bottlenecks and ensure high-confidence delivery dates.
- End-to-End Project Lifecycle Management: Lead the planning and execution of complex infrastructure projects. Define project scope and manage critical path dependencies. Work with project sponsors to define and actively manage project scope, plan, resource, budget, timeline, deliverables and dependencies.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field of study.
- 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years specifically focused on IT.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand technical concepts to effectively communicate with engineering teams.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including demonstrable experience analyzing data (e.g., utilizing Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, QlikView, etc.)
- A very strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and partner with others.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to set goals, meet deadlines, and effectively communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills.
