Glimpse is the leading AI platform for CPG brands — automating critical back-office workflows like deductions management, revenue recovery, and cash application. Since launching in April 2024, we've grown from 0 to 200+ customers, raised $52M from investors including a16z, 8VC and Y Combinator.
Our AI agents retrieve deduction data, validate charges, automate cash application, and dispute invalid claims — work that would take a full-time employee years to complete. For a $1B CPG brand, a single Glimpse agent reviewed 17,000 deductions in under 24 hours, identifying over $10M in recoverable revenue.
We're building the next-generation suite of services for consumer brands and are looking for exceptional people to help us scale.
About the roleWe’re hiring a Deployment Strategist to lead our most complex enterprise customers through the stages of problem discovery, solution scoping, successful deployment, and measurable value.
You’ll be tasked with deeply understanding CPG and retail systems within our enterprise customers, translating messy real-world workflows into clear technical requirements, and working with engineering to deliver end-to-end Glimpse’s AI solutions to customers - keeping external and internal teams aligned.
This role requires a blend of technical acumen, customer empathy, systems thinking, and project management.
What you’ll doLead discovery with enterprise customers to understand pain points, current workflows, constraints, and success criteria.
Scope and structure ambiguous problems into crisp requirements, milestones, and documentation for cross-functional customer, product, and engineering teammates.
Design solutions in partnership with the customer and our engineering team (workflows, integrations, configuration, edge cases).
Align executive and user stakeholders on scope (what we’re doing, what we’re not doing, timelines, resourcing, risks, dependencies).
Run cross-functional implementations: coordinate engineering, product, ops, and customer teams to deliver the end outcome.
Own deployment into production: configuration, testing, rollout planning, and post-launch iteration.
Communicate results and value to both operational users and executive sponsors - progress updates, impact reporting, and next-step recommendations.
Partner closely with Sales and Product to share customer insights, influence roadmap, and improve our deployment playbook.
Must-haves
3+ years of experience doing customer discovery in ambiguous environments (ex-founder, early-stage product manager, deployment strategist/FDE, solutions/implementation/consulting, or similar).
Strong technical + systems intuition: you don’t need to be a pure software engineer, but you can reason about integrations, data flows, edge cases, and implementation constraints, and collaborate tightly with engineering.
Experience operating inside complex enterprise systems, especially where processes span many tools and teams (CPG/retail exposure is a plus).
Excellent customer-facing communication: comfortable leading working sessions, aligning stakeholders, and explaining scope, risks, and technical concepts to both operators and execs.
Nice-to-haves
Technical background (computer science, engineering)
Experience with CPG, retail, deductions, trade promotions, chargebacks, EDI, or ERP ecosystems.
Experience shipping customer-facing integrations or implementation tooling.
Experience in a solutions engineering or forward deployed engineering organization at an early stage startup
High ownership: you don’t just advise - you drive the work to completion.
Systems thinking: you can reason about messy workflows and design something scalable, not one-off.
Customer empathy + backbone: you listen deeply, then confidently set boundaries and callout tradeoffs.
Fast learner: you ramp into new domains and tools quickly.
As a Deployment Strategist: you’ll define how we deliver for enterprise customers.
Solve real world problems for operators and executives at major CPG brands.
Influence product direction through real customer signals.
Build repeatable implementation motions that scale.
Collaborative, energetic, in-person culture located in our NYC office.
