Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) – Remote Contract
We are looking for an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with Cognizant's end clients, designing, developing, and deploying production-ready software solutions.
The role involves hands-on engineering, backend development, cloud technologies, system integrations, and collaborating with clients to solve complex business challenges.
Requirements Key Requirements

5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.

Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages, along with SQL.

Experience with REST APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and distributed systems.

Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience developing and deploying production applications.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.

Ability to independently manage technical solutions from development through deployment.
