What Your Day May Look Like
- Manage and support all phases of complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts
- Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions
- Conduct and defend depositions, including expert witnesses
- Lead and manage written discovery and e-discovery processes
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Work closely with clients to develop case strategy and provide practical business-oriented advice
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of litigation experience at a law firm or clerkship + firm combination
- Significant experience in complex commercial, corporate, financial institution, real estate, land use, construction, and securities matters, including class action defense, is a plus
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience practicing in federal and state court
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and take ownership of cases
- Excellent academic credentials
- Admission to the Florida Bar (or eligibility for prompt admission)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
