The Formulary Operations Management Advisor provides leadership and oversight of the operational build and maintenance of the clinical policies. The Formulary Operations Management Advisor works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial and has moderate to substantial influence over the processes related to these builds.

The Formulary Operations Management Advisor is accountable for the accurate build of plans, question sets and rules in the PAHub System. Leads groups of healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and other business functions to making decisions about PAHub builds. Establishes strong relationships with stakeholders and collaborates to develop solutions. Performs data analysis and reporting to ensure optimal operational flow and quality. Develops key performance indicators and plans to improve overall process and efficiency. Leads the development of processes and training documentation. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding team, job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare leadership
  • 8 or more years of technical experience
  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to Humana leadership
  • Able to give direction and make sound business decisions
  • Leadership experience as a supervisor, manager or associate director
  • Experience with driving engagement and promoting a positive business culture
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

  • Process Improvement skills
  • Project Management skills
  • Advanced Degree
  • Lean/Six Sigma (or other quality/process program) experience

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$93,000 - $128,000 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
