Summary/Objective

Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of foreclosure proceedings, including, but not limited to: responding to client inquiries, providing counseling to clients regarding the non-judicial foreclosure process, entering information into the computer system, escalating issues found within the firm.

Essential Functions

1. Provides timely and accurate responses to client inquiries and internal requests/instructions regarding loan status or other applicable request.                        2. Provides recommendation to client regarding the non-judicial foreclosure process relating to proper notice, Federal Fair Debt guidelines, investor regulations, and loan chronologies for clients to respond to investor timeline issues.

3. Review files in order to ensure compliance with the Foreclosure process prior to posting.

4. Ensures all required information is properly entered into the case management system and into the appropriate databases/client systems in a timely and efficient manner.

5. Management of GSE portfolio and system updates as required by FNMA/FHLMC.

6. Reviews files and/or circumstances with the files to determine the appropriate request for assistance from the litigation area and other related areas in the firm.

7. Responsible for assisting with foreclosure sale reporting.

8. Assists in uploading all supporting documentation to the Clients as required by the Client Directives

9. Performs all other duties as requested and assists as needed with any other Client Service related duties including various project.

10. Receive and direct in-bound phone calls from borrowers, investors, and clients.

Qualifications

1.  High school diploma or equivalent.

2.   Minimum four years mortgage banking experience a plus.

3.  Strong communication etiquette (verbal and written).

4.   Able work independently with little to no direction from management as well as be part of a team.

5.   Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize based upon urgency.

Skills Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mortgage banking experience (four years preferred)
  • Knowledge of non-judicial foreclosure process, Federal Fair Debt guidelines, investor regulations, and loan chronologies
  • Experience managing GSE portfolio and FNMA/FHLMC system updates
  • Proficient data entry into case management systems and client databases; uploading supporting documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication etiquette
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and as part of a team
  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize based on urgency, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Handle inbound phone calls from borrowers, investors, and clients professionally
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, maintain confidentiality, and make appropriate decisions or escalate when necessary
