Your responsibilities:
- Lead and execute all aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring customer validation and acceptance. This includes developing and designing network configurations tailored to specific customer requirements.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and proof-of-concept trials to showcase new solutions, as well as executing comprehensive acceptance tests in both Nokia labs and customer environments.
- Facilitate workshops and perform fault analysis to resolve issues during NPI activities.
- Take ownership of technical solutions, ensuring successful implementation within customer projects, and utilize specialist knowledge to tackle complex network design and configuration challenges.
Must Have Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent, with a range of 1 to 7 years experience
- High motivation to work with access network technologies and products, and technical work experience in FTTH, GPON, P2P, OSS
- Knowledge of network forwarding and routing (NRS1, CCNA, or equivalent) and experience with containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and Python or equivalent
- Familiarity with Fixed Access Network (xPON) design principles (intent-based networking).
- Strong troubleshooting experience with real-world deployment issues (system-level, underlay/overlay, multi-vendor).
- Experience with automation and management platforms (YANG, REST, gNMI, Ansible, Python, API, YAML).
- Experienced with public cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS and Azure
- Working knowledge of cloud-native technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, VMware, Openstack, container networking and AI/ML Knowledge
Nice to have Skills
- Familiarity with Testing, Debugging and Quality Engineering principles.
- Good understanding on security tools and testing.
- Good understanding of Software Architecture / Design.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exposure to Telecommunication and Networking technologies.
- Understanding of web services, API, REST, RPC, and experience with Ansible or Python scripting
