Position: Logistics Analyst (Junior)
(Contingent Upon Task Order Award)
Overview: ITC Defense is looking for a Junior Logistics Analyst to support multiple Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) International Program Managers and Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (APML). The selected candidate will assist in providing analysis, coordination, and recommendations regarding the twelve Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements during an international program’s life cycle. Experience can be Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Logistics, or Program Management. Some examples of the type of support that ITC is looking for are provided below under Responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Support could be in any combination of (but not limited to) the following general areas:
- Assist more senior positions in the performance of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) studies, analysis, and evaluations for various international programs.
- Assist in the research of special topics, the preparation and coordination of reports, and the development of monitoring systems.
- Assist the Program Office in new Security Cooperation business acquisition as well as FMS or Security Cooperation case development, implementation, and follow-on support activities.
- Provide analysis support and track program/project status and schedules in support of program offices.
- Assist in researching the availability of repair parts and equipment to support Ally Partner Security Assistance cases.
- Track the implementation of required corrective actions and milestone accomplishments.
- Assist with the In-Transit-Visibility (ITV) monitoring of high priority shipments.
- Attend Program Management Reviews, Technical Coordination Meetings, conferences, briefings and other significant program activities and events occurring in CONUS and OCONUS, as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Department of Defense Secret or Interim Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree and less than three (3) years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, life cycle management, analysis, or planning. Additional years of experience can be used to offset the degree requirement.
