You will support the warehouse operations in the distribution centre and deliver key performance targets (SQCDSM) in safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost, sustainability, organizational morale. You will ensure our lean strategy is implemented and is fully effective and you will strive to build a high performing organization.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Plan and release customer orders to PFL lanes and manual outfeeds
- Assignment of doors and loading docks for outbound shipments
- Liase with maintenance team to ensure PM tasks do not impact on customer service.
- Identify automation system equipment issues and liase with maintenance to rectify.
- Identify and resolve SAP related issues, liaising with local and remote technical resources.
- Balance and smooth inbound and outbound load for automation and loading docks.
- Monitor the automation reject stations and co-ordinate the rectification and no compliant pallets.
- Investigate line stoppages and rectify where minor intervention is required e.g. pallet dag triggering sensor or coordinate with residential maintenance team to fix other issues on the automation
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:
- Strong operational & warehousing experience in FMCG industry with experience in SAP EWM
- 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts experience preferable.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving and team building.
- Good knowledge of automated warehousing operations.
- 2 years plus experience working in a similar role.
More about the role
- This is an onsite role with 5 days working from site.
- The timings for afternoon shift will be 2pm - 10 pm.
