Job Description

Oversee all Flow Assurance subjects with regards to Sub-Surfaces, Topsides, SURF and SPS equipment packages of the Venus Field Development Project during the EPSCC phase and supervise the studies performed by the EPSCC SURF Contractor and anticipate/supervise need for additional third party engineering checks on critical items.
The Service Holder will report to the SURF Technical Manager and support primarily the SURF team and liaise with other project teams (SPS, FPSO & Field Operations).

- Promote & comply in all activities with applicable safety instructions and other company H3SE&Q rules, implement and control H3SE rules and requirements within his area of responsibility. Ensure all flowlines technical documentation and SURF Contractor activities comply with H3SE&Q requirements and highlight any potential deviations. Ensure safe working practices are implemented along all phases of project.
- Provide high level support services to ensure compliance with regards to the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy, promote and enforce the Anti-Corruption Program within the Project
- Ensure adequate execution and supervision of Flow Assurance studies and provide timely and adequate Flow Assurance assistance to the FPSO, SURF and SPS packages in cases of technical and / or design conflicts/problems to ensure equipment specification meets the project requirements. The field being a very deepwater oil field with a high GOR content it is expected that the Service Holder will be proactively suggesting ideas and taking decisions to solve the flow assurance challenges that are expected to happen throughout the different project phases.
- Liaise with Reservoir, Well performance, Field Operations, Process and Subsea engineering teams to update them of the changes in Flow assurance requirements that may impact the project as well as to assist them in any studies or Technical queries.
- Perform Flow Assurance studies ensuring they are validated when required, providing timely information of any modifications which may arise during the project Flow Assurance review studies.
- Participate in operations engineering of the project, including the definition of main principles, policy, and operating means.
- Follow the day-to-day progress of engineering activities related to Flow assurance by the EPSCC SURF contractor and EPFS SPS contractor. Validate and guarantee the technical expertise of the Flow Assurance studies and the optimization of the Flow Assurance design. Provide technical assistance in decision-making due to any proposed Flow Assurance changes and recommend solutions to optimize the existing designs.
- Define, develop, issue and maintain all necessary technical documentation related to the flow assurance activities. Support and participate in the development and maintenance of Project Management main documents (SOR, FDP, PEP, PQP, Risks, etc.)

Qualifications

• Qualification: BSc in Engineering or equivalent
• Languages: English (fluent verbal & written)
• Professional Experience: minimum 15 years experience in flow assurance engineering studies during detailed engineering for a deep water oil production offshore field
• Skills required: Strong knowledge and ability to run Olga

• Very strong understanding of flow assurance challenges in ultra deepwater environment for high pressure / high temperature oil production. Very good expertise and production loops shutdown and re-start challenges
• Good knowledge of relevant codes (DNV)
• Previous experience with Major SURF Contractors and/or Operators during project execution for deepwater project or specialist engineering companies

Additional Information

• Starting date: October 2026 (subject to FID)
• Duration : 1 year minimum to 4 years
• Location: United Kingdom, London with periodic travel to France (Paris)
• Status: Residential

Skills Required
