Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of litigation related to secured lending, including civil and title litigation and bankruptcy matters.
  • Draft discovery, pleadings, and dispositive motions with precision and clarity.
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
  • Conduct depositions and court appearances with thorough preparation and confidence.
  • Review title documents, foreclosure files, and respond to lender inquiries promptly.
  • Provide strategic case analysis and budgeting within 24 hours of file intake.
  • Collaborate with support staff and provide legal guidance in a respectful, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage-related litigation or civil litigation.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills (proficiency in Westlaw or LexisNexis required).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in both remote and in-office settings.
  • Professional demeanor and dedication to delivering a positive client experience.
