Intelic builds Nexus, a command-and-control (C2) platform for uncrewed systems used by Ukrainian brigades every day.
We are looking for a Flight Test & Validation Engineer who will test our product in the air and prove it is ready before it reaches the customer. You are the link between the development team and the people who use Nexus in the field. You fly, you run structured tests, you document what breaks and why, and you fix what you can on the spot. You are as comfortable diagnosing a radio link in the middle of a field exercise as you are writing a test report or a test scenario.
Prepare, configure and integrate drones, radios, ground stations and Nexus software before tests and deployments.
Fly multirotor and other UAV platforms in test flights according to protocols, safety rules and checklists.
Write and run test scenarios and acceptance tests for new Nexus releases and integrations before handover to the customer.
Log flights, missions, defects and incidents; write clear test reports with software and hardware configurations.
Find and fix problems in the field: wiring, firmware, configuration, RF links, networking.
Hands-on drone piloting experience.
QA or testing experience: writing and running tests, documenting results and defects, fixing problems in the field.
Good understanding of drone hardware and software, and of flight mechanics. Experience with Betaflight and ArduPilot / PX4; Mission Planner or QGroundControl.
Understanding of radio links (ELRS, Crossfire, digital vs analog video) and basic networking.
Ukrainian at native level, English at B1+ (technical documentation, communication with HQ).
Driving licence, category B.
Readiness to work in the field, in any weather, sometimes at short notice, following SOPs and safety rules.
Talented team. Collaborate with some of the brightest engineers and defense experts in the Netherlands.
Scale-up momentum. Join at a pivotal growth stage where you can help shape both the product and the company.
Hands-on testing. See your work in action through regular real-world field testing.
Meaningful impact. Contribute to mission-critical technology that directly improves safety and effectiveness in defense operations.
Innovation at the core. Tackle complex engineering challenges and push the boundaries of autonomy in defense.
Full-time position and official employment
