Job Description:
SUMMARY
The Flight Operations Engineer – Weight & Balance is in charge of defining the relevant Flight Operations Standards by providing support, training and services on operational weight & balance subjects to Airbus Operators. He/She works in close cooperation with the Airbus Flight Operations Support & Training Standards department (STL) and NAVBLUE dealing with aircraft weight & balance services and associated software development and training.
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for flight operations support activities including, but not limited to:
Author relevant flight operations manuals according to the Flight Operational Standards defined by STL
Update relevant flight operations manuals according to aircraft definition, operational feedbacks and requests from the customers, authorities/agencies or internals
Manage aircraft configuration to ensure coverage of individual aircraft definition in relevant flight operations manuals
Answer to customer queries on aircraft weight & balance subjects and loadsheet operational software ( FlySmart+ Loadsheet Modules, LTS) upon STL requests
In charge of functional test for the new version of weight & balance operational software (FlySmart+ Loadsheet Modules, LTS)
Provide Flight Operations training sessions on weight & balance subjects for the whole Airbus fleet to the operators
Provide Trimsheet Package Services to the operators in the frame of Flight Operations Services
Qualification & Professional skills
Bachelor degree in aeronautical engineering
2 to 5 years of experience in airline operations or equivalent
Advanced level of communication skills in English
Operational aircraft weight & balance knowledge
Project management knowledge
Familiar with an international and multifunctional environment
Coaching and Training skills
Presentation skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Good customer service mindset
Good team player
General knowledge of aircraft systems
