Roles and Responsibilities
- Value Stream Management: Operationalize Value Stream Management by creating and maintaining Current State and Future State Value Stream Maps, Transformation Roadmaps, Operating Cadences, Action Plans, and structured Problem Solving. Drive alignment with customer priorities and deliver measurable improvements in SQDC performance.
- FLIGHT DECK Activation: Continuously develop the lean strategy within the PV organization, aligning with FLIGHT DECK principles. Deliver comprehensive lean training programs to enhance team capabilities and drive measurable improvements in SQDC performance.
- Kaizen and Continuous Improvement: Lead and facilitate kaizen events to identify and eliminate waste, improve flow, and enhance operational efficiency. Promote a culture of continuous improvement through hands-on engagement, coaching, and alignment with FLIGHT DECK Fundamentals.
- Change Management and Coaching: Utilize exceptional change management skills to lead transformation efforts, coaching and mentoring teams and leadership in lean principles, problem-solving methodologies, and FLIGHT DECK behaviors.
- Daily Management System: Define, track, and report on KPIs and/or PPIs, driving measurable improvements within Indirect Sourcing operations. Utilize daily and visual management tools to enable real-time problem-solving at the genba and ensure alignment with SQDC priorities.
- Standard Work Maturity: Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard work processes across the value stream. Ensure adherence to documented work instructions, sequence, and timing to deliver consistent quality and efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effectively interface with internal and external stakeholders to align technology, processes, and strategies with PV objectives and customer priorities. Build strong relationships to ensure successful implementation of lean initiatives.
- Leadership Behaviors and Culture: Champion the FLIGHT DECK lean operating model by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, respect for people, and customer-driven execution across Indirect Sourcing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university AND a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering and/or Training.
- OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering and/or Training.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving change, transformation, and operational excellence
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles, process improvement, and project management
- Relocation only offered if willing to move to our world headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Must be willing to travel a minimum of 10%.
