Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment and sustainment of the FLIGHT DECK lean operating model across various departments and teams.
- Conduct value stream mapping, identify waste, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Facilitate kaizen events, workshops, and training sessions to educate and engage employees in lean principles and practices.
- Develop and implement standard work procedures to ensure consistency and quality in operations.
- Utilize lean tools such as 5S, Kanban, and root cause analysis to drive problem-solving and process optimization.
- Collaborate with leadership to align lean initiatives with business goals and objectives.
- Mentor and coach team members to build lean capabilities and sustain a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure all lean activities prioritize safety and comply with regulatory and company standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with 4 years of experience in lean transactional, engineering, and/or continuous improvement roles, or equivalent experience)
- At least an additional 5 years of experience in lean transactional, engineering, and/or continuous improvement roles or equivalent experience applying Lean/Continuous Improvement tools

- 8+ years of experience in lean transactional, engineering, or continuous improvement roles within the aerospace industry
- Proven track record of leading successful lean initiatives and driving measurable improvements
