Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

As the System Architect for our flight control system, you will play a pivotal role in defining and shaping the architecture and ensure consistency across system boundaries. Your responsibility spans across various disciplines, ensuring the seamless integration of electrical, mechanical, safety, weight, and performance requirements.

Job Tasks:

  • You will lead all flight control system development activities and functions, including system management and integration.
  • You will liaise with cross-functional teams and overarching teams in respective field to ensure technical coherence and integrity over product lifetime.
  • You will manage physical and design integration in close liaison with the Aircraft Architect or Chief Engineering.
  • You will harmonize requirements and technical solutions across all stakeholders on the technical side.
  • You will supervise the system qualification and V&V.
  • You will follow-up on continuous airworthiness and promote technical innovations
  • You will analyze impact of design decisions, anticipate, and identify technical risks, and introduce countermeasures to mitigate risk to an acceptable level.
  • You will ensure consistency and completeness of technical solutions, own and manage system level requirements, baselines, and ensure consistency.

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in flight control system development and project management
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
