Flexjet, a global leader in private aviation and luxury travel, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Operations team as a Flight Communications Specialist.
The Flight Communications Specialist serves as a primary communication link between Flexjet flight crews and the Operation. This role supports the daily execution of trips through clear communication, sound judgment, timely coordination, and accurate information sharing. Flight Communications Specialists help maintain operational awareness, support crews through day-of changes, and serve as stewards of the relationship between flight crews and the Operation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary point of contact for flight crews, coordinating with Crew Scheduling, Scheduling, Flight Planning, Maintenance, and other operational teams as needed.
- Support day-of-flight operations by communicating schedule changes, maintenance updates, weather impacts, crew legality concerns, and other operational information.
- Monitor and respond to pilot communications through phone, email, and internal communication platforms.
- Escalate operational issues and coordinate solutions to support safe and efficient trip execution.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure critical information is communicated promptly to relevant teams.
- Deliver professional, customer-focused support while balancing crew needs, operational priorities, and company expectations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school; 1-3 years of related experience preferably in an aviation/logistics environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of FARs regarding Part 91, 121, or 135 airline operations is preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the aptitude to learn customized company software programs

SCHEDULE & POSITION EXPECTATIONS
- Our operation is 365/24/7 and candidates must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as schedule dictates.
- This position is fully onsite and requires in-person attendance at our Global Command Center.
- Schedule: Full-time, front or back half of the week including 1 weekend day.
- 3 – 14 hour shifts or 4 – 11 hour shifts
Skills Required
