Job Description

The first 12 months of this role, tasks associated with this role will evolve with gradual integration, as they become relevant within the requirements of the business.  Therefore, it will be expected that the successful candidate contributes to other areas of the business whilst capacity allows.  You will be expected to collaborate with other team members and assist in their areas of operation. 

As the Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that Flexis can deliver vehicles and services to customer and then facilitate the in-life services that require input at local market level.  You will support and maintain a robust supply chain for vehicles from port to customer that includes all legislative compliance and logistical demands.  Where third parties are required in order to provide efficiency and expertise, you will select the right partner (when needed locally) and manage those relationships (if selected centrally). 

You will ensure that an effective aftersales network is set up and managed to provide our customers with industry leading service levels that offer value to customers and profitability to Flexis and our aftersales partners.  This will also involve the initiation of an authorised repair network.

Input into remarketing strategy will be required as well.  The role will continually evolve over time and the successful candidate will need to be agile and have a broad awareness of key topics that may need to be considered as well as having a problem-solving mentality.  The Business Operations Manager will work in partnership with many different stakeholders in the UK and other markets as well as out HQ in France.

Key Responsabilities : 

  • Creating and managing a team to support activities in line with business strategy
  • Support the creation of aftersales and parts distribution network
  • Support the creation of an approved damage repair network, including liaison with insurance providers
  • Support management of a UK/Germany supply chain from arrival of vehicles in the country to the final customer location.

    • Logistics
    • Registration
    • PDI/PDS
    • Delivery and Handover
  • Ensuring legislative compliance (customs, data, insurance etc.)
  • Collaboration with HQ to ensure effective customer support
  • Internal demonstrator programme
  • Residual Value management
  • Remarketing integration and development of solutions and processes
  • Ownership of multiple external contractual supplier relationships

Qualifications

  • Broad level of experience across different industry functions.
  • Creative problem solving skills.
  • Agile and eager to learn & share.
  • Highly engaged in sustainability transition (environment, health & safety).
  • High communication and listening skills.
  • Vehicle lifetime value chain knowledge.
  • Desire to drive the continuous improvement of products.
  • Background with E-mobility would be a plus.
  • Ability to manage suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Able to work cross functionally in project mode.
  • Act as a real team player, promoting collaboration and support.
  • Fluent German and English
