In this role, you will work on some of the most exciting projects in the flavor industry, helping to bring innovative and proprietary flavor technologies to market. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop winning flavor solutions that delight consumers and drive business growth.Job Responsibilities:
- Independently manage mid-level flavor briefs and collaborate on complex projects.
- Create, duplicate, and modify sweet and beverage flavor formulations to meet customer and market needs.
- Translate customer requirements into innovative flavor technology solutions.
- Develop production-ready formulas that meet regulatory, quality, and manufacturing standards.
- Evaluate and incorporate new and unique raw materials to enhance flavor performance.
- Utilize GC-MS and other analytical tools to support flavor development and troubleshooting.
- Lead technical presentations and discussions with internal teams and external customers.
- Strengthen and expand customer relationships through technical expertise and collaboration.
- 5-7 years of experience as a flavorist, with a strong focus on sweet categories such as dairy, confectionery, or beverages.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and commercialize flavor solutions.
- Experience with GC-MS and other analytical techniques is highly beneficial.
- Certification with the Society of Flavor Chemists is a strong plus, though not required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to support customer projects and business needs.
