About the Role:

The Flatwork/DryFold position is essential in ensuring the efficient processing and handling of laundered textiles, primarily focusing on flatwork items such as sheets, tablecloths, and other large fabric pieces. The role involves operating specialized machinery to dry, fold, and prepare these items for distribution or further processing, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires attention to detail to identify and address any imperfections or issues with the textiles, ensuring customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a smooth workflow within the laundry or textile processing facility by collaborating with team members and adhering to safety and operational protocols. Ultimately, this role supports the overall goal of delivering clean, neatly folded, and ready-to-use flatwork products in a timely and efficient manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment or willingness to learn.
  • Basic physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle textiles.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a laundry, textile processing, or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with flatwork drying and folding machinery.
  • Basic mechanical skills for minor equipment maintenance.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
