FIU/KBR Internship

As an intern, you’ll gain valuable experience and contribute to real-world projects, collaborating with experts across various fields.
Internship Overview:
Join KBR’s team for a 5-week internship focused on tackling a real-world project that directly supports one of our U.S. Marine Corps Condition Based Maintenance (CBM+) programs. During the internship, you will work with team members across multiple domains to apply your academic knowledge to solve real-world challenges. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in data analytics and technology, contributing to the development of solutions that impact our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a technical solution utilizing vehicle engine and transmission data.
- Collaborate with team members on a real-world project that directly supports one of KBR’s programs.
- Help create reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the project.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in at FIU.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Computer Science or Engineering major.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ground vehicles
- Ability to work effectively in both collaborative team environments and independently.
- A strong interest in solving real-world problems using data and technology
