Fit & Wear Coordinator
ROLE SUMMARY:
Are you Specialized? We have an amazing opportunity in our equipment development organization as a Fit and Wear Test Coordinator. You’ll have an opportunity to work directly with our world-class industrial design, graphic design, marketing, human performance, engineering and development organization from concept to delivering the best quality helmets and apparel to market. You will develop communication and technical skills to build, test, and provide feedback that will contribute to making the best helmets and apparel for our riders around the globe. This position requires a unique entrepreneurial spirit for translating customer needs into desired bicycle product and must be capable of supporting the efforts of our Product Design, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Operations team members worldwide.
HOW YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

Spend time with riders, ranging from world-class professional athletes to fitness riders, to learn and understand the needs of the riders for apparel and helmets.

Help inform Product Management for future briefs and Design in making future product decision.

Actively support Design, Development, and Product Management with fitting and wear testing feedback.

Development support; learning how to build and innovate at the most intimate level of product creation.

Work with product team to provide rider experience and insight to help drive united global product messaging.

Support product presentations by adding to the storytelling for new products. Developing presentation skills set and presence for the future opportunity to present to sales team and externally to retailers.

Daily communication with internal and external teams – manufacturing, development, design, warranty, Specialized University, and Human Performance.

Manage multiple projects in fit and wear testing at one time and provide timely and concise feedback to the product team.

This position will support Helmets, Apparel, and other equipment categories as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO WIN:

BS in related disciplines such as engineering, Kinesiology/Physiology, Business or other related degree, OR combination of education and years of experience.

With support and guidance, ability to solve problems, handle ambiguity and deliver results.

Open to travel (international and domestic) 10-15%.

Curiosity to continually find a better way, humble approach to team collaboration and a passion to drive for tangible innovation.

Fluent in Microsoft Office products.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the cycling industry or bike retail preferred.

Experience with Adobe Illustrator preferred.
Pay -
Below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations:
Colorado Base Pay Range: $42,543 -$67,733
